Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, Inc., The Southeast Addiction Technology Transfer Center, DHR/Office of Addictive Diseases, and the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse offer an important interactive learning opportunity:

Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) Symposium

Join us July 20 & 21, 2009, for a dynamic 2-day event that will address the latest clinical research related to recovery pathways, stages of recovery and ways to support long-term recovery in your community!

The 2009 Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care Symposium will be held just south of the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, Peachtree City, Georgia.

The presenters, William White, Lonnetta Albright and Ijeoma Achara, are on the leading edge of the national addiction recovery management movement, and will facilitate planning by addiction prevention, treatment and recovery stakeholders on the local level regarding next steps toward implementing a recovery-oriented system of care in their respective local communities.

Participants will also learn about research supporting the shift to recovery management and the implications of recovery management for traditional and peer-support services.  CEUs available!

The cost per person for the 2-day conference is only $50.00!  Out of pocket expenses include:  travel, lodging ($109/double), dinner on July 20th and any incidentals.
